A simple card with warm wishes.
Happy weekend!!! I used tape transfer method for this card. It's simple yet fun to make. All you need a piece of newspaper or any materials which have wordings on it (for this i downloaded a poem from the web then printed out). Tape on it with transparent tape and press the surface to ensure the surface are covered. Under running tap water gently rub the paper away. The words will remain on the tape. Once dry paste it on card stock. Size of this card: 3"w x 8.3"h

In a meantime, I decided to create an ABC Book for my beautiful beloved niece. These are some pictures which will be used for her first custom made alphabet book. I am still trying to figure out what design suits her. These pictures were downloaded from the web. Earlier I intend to draw and paint myself but I don't have much time, so it will be easier to download these colourful pictures (but never know if I change my mind later) Till then.........hope to finish it soon......Happy weekend

Hey, it has been sometimes since my last post. I have been occupied with many agendas lately but most of all my exam finished; I'm relieved.....super exciting 3 weeks break can't wait for the coming getaway, photo shooting, crafting, etc. etc..... in addition, I am learning sign language. It is really exciting and fun, at the same time feel lucky and blessed that I can hear my own voice compare some people.
Sharing my first post of the year. This was my first quilling experience. I was inspired by http://azlina-lin.blogspot.com/ Her cards are awesome and I have been following her blog for sometimes now.
Quilling is an addictive activity; the moment I start I can never stop. Matching colours, try to figure out the patterns and design. Earlier it was frustrating specially when I am out of ideas but at the same time it taught me patience. When I look at others work, they were wonderful and I was stunned. But once mind completed, "Satisfaction" is the keyword. The outcome; not bad for first timer--I guessed--
For this card I chose 'Flower' as a theme and used 3mm paper thickness for quilling. I did 4 different patterns and sizes of flowers. I used mini paper shredder which I purchased from http://happyfeet-pingu.blogspot.com/ It is easy to handle and reliable. I do not have to purchase quilling paper from the craft shop which I found them a little bit pricey (no doubt it's neater and looks good but for beginner I don't mind D.I.Myself).
That is all about quilling today, will post more soon :) have a good day....
