I would like to share with how to make a coaster using straps. I got these straps from the office. It was used to tie the printer toner boxes. In fact I almost throw it away. But suddenly hit my mind that I might be able to make something out of it. Instead of throwing, recycle it? Well here are some pictures on how I make my handmade coaster.
Try it yourself. It's an easy & a fun activity to do with your family.
Happy Thursday all!

Saya ingin berkongsi cara membuat alas minuman menggunakan pita pengikat kotak. Pengikat ini saya dapat dari pejabat. Ia digunakan untuk mengikat kotak 'toner'. Sebenarnya pengikat ini nyaris dibuang. Tiba-tiba terfikir hendak buat sesuatu. Daripada dibuang & mencemarkan alam baik dikitar semula. Betul tak?
Anda boleh mencuba & ia boleh dijadikan aktiviti menarik bersama keluarga. Selamat mencuba!
The common polystyrene straps. It is use to tie boxes or secure packaging. (Ini pita pengikat kotak. Ianya jenis polysterene) |
Cut the straps into 4" length. You can cut at any size desired. (Gunting pita dengan ukuran 4". Anda boleh ubahsuai mengikut kesukaan.) |
I used basic weave technique to create a coaster. (Saya gunakan teknik anyaman biasa untuk membuat alas minuman.) |
Secure the coaster by gluing every edges. (Gam setiap tepi alas minuman) |
Leave the glue to dry. (Biarkan gam kering) |
Here you go! Ready to serve! Yippeeee!!! (Sedia untuk dihidangkan!) |
