Flee market is one of my favourite spot; They offer many things which I found them unique & sometimes to the extend vintage items, something an ordinary stores don't offer. Its a great place to get a glimpse of an idea too. I saw a candle holder sold at a flee market; it's very nice. So the idea of making one just explode.... I have an empty tea container which I think just perfect for a candle holder. It's simple and fun to make. Here are few pictures on how I transform an unwanted container to a candle holder. Have fun; And you can try to make your own too!
This is the empty tea container I mentioned about. Made of thick hard cardboard. |
Peeled off the cover. Use sharp circle cutter to create holes around it. |
I used poster colour to paint the outer container. I chose orange, black & white. You can use any materials or technique to decorate as desire.
Finished look. Purposely smeared the paint. |
The other side view. |
Now it's ready to use. |
Enjoy your evening with your own made candle holder. Perhaps a romantic candle light dinner at your patio *-* |
wah menariknyer...
